For Grade 11
With juniors, our counselors work through the initial steps of the admissions process, including college list development and standardized testing strategy. In our experience, the earlier we start working with students in their junior year, the less stressful the process and more successful the outcome.
After enrolling and completing our questionnaire, you will be matched with a former admissions officer based on your academic/school interests, qualifications and counselor availability.
It’s easy. Just coordinate with your counselor to find a date and time that works for your schedule. Evenings and weekends are okay, too.
Discuss with your AcceptU counselor: your academic interests, grades, extracurricular/summer activities, standardized testing and financial aid.
With your AcceptU counselor, develop an initial college list, determine which colleges to visit, prepare for interviews and start preliminary admissions strategy discussions.
AcceptU will check in with you every month to let you know what you need to be working on — and when. Of course, you’re also welcome to schedule counseling sessions when needed.
